"If I Could Speak"

  Stacie Robinson and Rachel Moore

We are students from Taylor University seeking opportunities in which we can fully utilize the gifts we have been given.  We met at school while living in the same dorm on the same floor.  After a friendship emerged, we discovered that we both possessed a strong passion for being a remedy to the suffering in this world.  After doing some research, we discovered that many forms of slavery still exist even now in the 21st century.  The form that caught us most by surprise was human trafficking.  It is one of the fastest growing forms of slavery and is a growing problem both nationally and internationally. After much prayer and discussion, we decided that we could no longer allow this atrocity to happen, but that we needed to combine our passion with our gifts.

Rachel has been gifted with art and uses her art in such a way that captures a true emotional essence.  By using colored pencil, she draws portraits of victims and enhances the color, so much so that the audience is then forced to interact with the piece, feel its emotion, and consider the issues at hand. Stacie utilizes her gift of music, by leading worship through playing guitar while singing.  Our desire is to fully utilize our gifts in a way that brings God glory by abolishing such a horrific form of suffering.  By doing this tour throughout Ohio (and other places if the Lord allows), we hope to raise more awareness and shed light on such a dark issue.  Although we are new to this, we are confident that God will open doors for us, so that we may help those who cannot help themselves.  We are graciously asking you to come along side us on this journey.
